About

Artist statement

"To appreciate life, in all its shape and form, is the ultimate human purpose, and the highest level of human intelligence." - A.Aichik

My practice centers on imaginative, creature‑led paintings that function as allegories — visual fables where fantasy becomes a language for emotional truth.

I work across watercolor, ink, and oil. Watercolor introduces translucency and chance, ink provides structure and contrast, and oil builds depth — holding saturated color and slowing time on the surface.

These works are open narratives. The creatures act as anchors for interpretation, inviting viewers to project their own memories, fears, and hopes into the myth.
